Real Estate Market Sales Overview for this Past Month in the South Bay

In May 2026, the South Bay real estate market remained active and highly segmented, with market conditions varying by city, price point, and property type across El Segundo, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Palos Verdes, Rancho Palos Verdes, Playa del Rey, and Playa Vista. Manhattan Beach luxury real estate continued to outperform much of the broader Los Angeles market, with single-family homes selling quickly and many well-positioned properties receiving strong buyer interest due to limited inventory and continued demand for coastal living. Hermosa Beach homes for sale also maintained solid momentum, particularly in desirable beach-close neighborhoods where turnkey properties attracted buyers seeking a premium South Bay lifestyle.
