Real Estate Market Sales Overview for this Past Month in the South Bay

In May 2025, the South Bay real estate market showcased a mixed but resilient landscape across its coveted neighborhoods. In El Segundo and Torrance, inventory rose modestly, providing buyers with more choices amid a balanced market of single-family homes and condos. Manhattan Beach continued to command attention with high median list prices (around $5.55 M) and strong buyer activity as luxury coastal properties drew interest from Pacific Palisades relocations. Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach sustained steady demand, with single-family homes and condos moving quickly thanks to beachside appeal. In the Palos Verdes Peninsula—including Rancho Palos Verdes—luxury estates remained desirable, though cautious buyers navigated wildfire and landslide concerns.
