In November 2025, the South Bay property market reflected a modest slowdown, though demand remained solid — creating a cautiously balanced environment where pricing, condition, and location mattered more than ever. According to recent local market reports, overall home sales dipped compared with prior months, signaling a cooling from the frenzied pace of earlier in the year. El Segundo saw fewer closed sales compared to October, which offered buyers slightly more room to negotiate on mid-range homes and condos. Hermosa Beach continued to command interest for its coastal appeal, but with fewer listings and sales, buyers took a more selective approach — especially when price per square foot and condition didn’t match expectations. Redondo Beach held steady with consistent interest across a range of properties. However, some longer days on market suggested buyers were becoming more discerning, particularly in segments above entry-level pricing. In Manhattan Beach, luxury ocean-adjacent real estate continued drawing attention, though the number of sales declined — reinforcing that only well-priced, well-maintained homes with premium appeal were moving confidently.
